So far 11 installations of the android. The apple is causing me grief due to "appleness" but will be there soon.

That's about the age of our iMac. I'll have to keep an eye on it, but at this stage, it's still going strong. I've never had a Mac blow up - my Home Backup machine is an old (now ancient) PowerMac G3 Blue and White, overclocked to the shithouse, but with three Terabytes in it, and coping a daily pounding for music and photos.

That would explain it. There are only two people that use my iMac (neither of them are me), and it's either Living Books, or word processing. Not much more.

my new phone is still neither iOS or android. i've always had nokia's and don't really like any of the styles of the new phones so stuck with nokia. the operating system is their lynux based meego, which is already dead in the water due to windows phone. it does the job for me though. i'm still one of these people that only uses a mobile phone for.... phoning! and maybe some texts:confused::cool:

LOL!!!! Its dissapointing, they dominated the market for so long but stood still around E72.... N97 was a piece of shit, Their touch screens have been poo ever since.

That's a pissa F6 lol - so right.
All I used was nokias from day1 but as times went by I couldn't hide anymore during my business travel and relented getting an iPhone - on the 2 nd one now as well as a blackberry for whilst OS iPhone data download increases my bills massive.
Couldn't go back to nokia left behind as F6 said like the XR8 :)

i guess it all depends what you want/need from your device. i have the N9 and its touch screen is every bit as good as the wife's HTC or brothers samsung.

Prydey don't get me wrong, if it wasn't for work and needing to keep on top of emails all I use the mobile for is calls and SMS oh and the camera is handy, otherwise they are pia IMO can't hide anywhere.

hey thats fine. don't get me wrong. i have nothing against people that use them for work or otherwise. didn't mean to come across as 'anti'.

anyway the way the nokia works, its sort of similar to an app anyway. any website you look up you can save as an icon (app) on the screen. i actually really like the phone and have no regrets with it. camera is not quite as good as N8 (which according to reviews was the best on the market) but its still very good.
